Crocodile Taxidermy is the art of preserving a animal’s body by mounting or stuffing it for display or study.The process involves cleaning out the animals insides and carefully reshaping which requires specialist work.
Crocodiles being large reptiles represent a unique set of challenges for taxidermists.There tough scaly skin requires special care and attention during preservation.Taxidermists need to me meticulous in capturing the reptile’s features and expressions accurately ,to reflect its natural appearance.
All Saltwater Crocodile Products come from crocodiles which are ethically sourced of by products from the crocodile industry.
Each product has been carefully preserved by Andrew Smethurst in Cairns ,Queensland ,Australia.
Every crocodile is different so for example each head or mounted crocodile has its own personality.The scale pattern ,the eye color ,and jaw shape will vary from the image advertised , and sometimes a tooth might be missing from all the fighting and biting.Thats part of what makes your piece one of a kind.
Handling your crocodile
Handling your crocodile is easy if you take care .The skull and teeth are naturally sharp so always hold the head from the main jaw bone and with your fingers placed on either side of the eyes .
The smaller bones and legs are delicate and should be treated gently.

Each item is securely packaged with plenty of padding to protect it during shipping .

Currently I do not have permits to ship overseas these can be obtained but will take a few months.I do have personal baggage permits if you are returning home and wish to take purchase with you .
